Any love guru worth your time will tell you that one of the main secrets to a happy long-lasting relationship is to make sure you never lose the spark you had for each other when you were still courting. Weekday date nights are perfect for getting in time apart for your partner without the hassle of travel, babysitters and restaurant reservations. If it’s your turn to keep the flame burning this week but you're not sure what drink is going to get you the brownie points you’ve landed in the right place. Here are our favourite date night drinks!!

White Wine

If Pinot Grigio usually gets your engines going then it’s high time you introduced the wonderfully balanced Villa Wolf Pinot Blanc into your repertoire. As a not too distant relative of Pinot Grigio, Pinot Blanc is vibrant and fruity but has more presence and texture resulting in a fuller flavour profile and a better ability to pair with the food you're definitely cooking and not microwaving!

Red Wine

Does your partner have a penchant for Shiraz? If they do they're a keeper! It's gorgeous but for your date night go ahead and break out the special stuff. Crozes Hermitage Grands Chemins uses the same grapes as Shiraz and both exhibit bold flavours but Shiraz’s devilish Italian brother offers even more complexity.

Beer & Cider

If crashing on the sofa with a good film and a couple of beers or ciders while you just enjoy each others company sounds as good of a date night to you as it does to us then our Mix 'n' Match offer is an absolute no-brainer. Instead of your usual brew why don’t you explore our craft options. Houses like Brewdog and Sheppy's have definitely made their way into our hearts and will definitely bring a refreshing twist to "getting the beers in".
