We know what you’re thinking, frozen Strawberry Daiquiris at home, is that even possible? Well, let us tell you: with this recipe there is no need to reach for a mix from the shop, as homemade Strawberry Daiquiri with real frozen strawberries tastes infinitely better than anything you can buy!

The much loved strawberry daiquiri and frozen lime daiquiri are variations on the Classic Daiquiri: which is actually not frozen at all. It’s one the most classic sour cocktails there is and was invented in the early 1900’s. It’s made simply with rum, lime and sugar and served in a cocktail glass. The frozen daiquiris that are popular today came along later, in the 1930s, and were instantly a hit with sweet tooths and holiday lovers alike. After all, few things are as refreshing and delightful on a hot day than a frozen daiquiri.

When making this recipe, we’ve got a few tips to keep in mind. Firstly, use the best quality rum. The better the quality of rum, the tastier the drink, and we’ve got a wide range of delicious and high quality rums on The Bottle Club website..
Freezing or chilling your rum beforehand can also make a difference. When we made this strawberry daiquiri, we chilled our rum in a cocktail shaker to get it really cold, but you could also throw the rum in the freezer the night before to keep the drink cold.
