The cherry vodka sour is an elite sour cocktail: it’s refreshingly sweet tart with a frothy egg white foam on top and a lip-smacking cherry flavour! Ready for cocktail hour in just a few minutes.
A vodka sour is one in the family of sour cocktails. Sours are defined as three parts: liquor, citrus, and sweetener. The most basic formula for a sour cocktail is 2 ounces spirit, ¾ ounce sour, ¾ ounce sweet. Of course, there are all sorts of variations on the theme! The most classic of all sours are the Whiskey Sour and Pisco Sour. But let us blow your mind for a sec: you can make a sour with pretty much any flavoured spirit.
Another key difference to elevate your drink: real ingredients make for a better cocktail! When the cherries are in season, they are just begging to be made into this cherry vodka sour.
