Some love it, others hate it, but it's hard to deny that the Cement Mixer shot has stood the test of time. The taste of the shot isn't half bad, compared to some of the stronger shots out there, but what sets this shot apart is its unique texture. 

When the Irish Cream reacts with the lime juice, it thickens in texture (much like cement - hence the unusual name) which makes this shot a tough one to swallow. Fancy pranking your unsuspecting friends? Grab a bottle of Baileys and whip up this simple shot!

Ingredients

  • 1 and 1/2 oz of Irish Cream 
  • 1/2 oz of Lime Juice

Method

  1. Pour the Irish cream into a large shot glass.
  2. Slowly float the lime juice on top, or just pour it on.
  3. When you're ready to drink, take the shot and hold it in your mouth. Shake your head very fast, to turn your mouth into a cement mixer!
