An Aperol Spritz is a wine-based drink made with Prosecco, a bitter Italian liqueur called Aperol, and club soda. The Aperol is responsible for the drink's characteristic orange colour and bitter orange flavour. The Aperol Spritz cocktail drink is usually bitter and contains less alcohol than a standard cocktail, making it the perfect compliment to salty appetisers. The sweetness of the Prosecco and tartness of the Aperol balance each other out to create a zesty, effervescent, refreshing beverage that complements almost any meal.

Serve yours at home with olives, bruschetta or nuts for a delicious aperitivo and be transported to the streets of Venice.

There are multiple variations of the Aperol Spritz cocktail drink, including  St-Germain Spritz and the Bicicletta.
