Amaretto-Sour-Recipe The Bottle Club

Nutty, but sweet. Just like some of The Bottle Club team. The Amaretto Sour is a must-try. A fan of 70s culture and all things disco? This classic sour cocktail, made using the almond-flavoured Italian liqueur amaretto, emerged during the 1970s, and is the perfect drink for you! Satisfying, rounded and gently tart, it’s a good option for those who prefer their sours on the sweeter side.

It’s made using the unique spirit Amaretto, an Italian liqueur that’s typically flavoured with almonds or apricot stones. Its distinctive flavour can be incorporated into numerous cocktails, but it’s best known for the Amaretto Sour.

This sweet yet sour cocktail often gets a bad reputation, sometimes being overly sweet and relying on pre-made mix. With our recipe, you’re sure to fall in love with this 70s staple and be hitting the disco floor in minutes!
